The price of renewable energy policy risk
A current research project conducted at the University of St. Gallen on behalf of the International Energy Agency (IEA) in Paris studies non-economic barriers (e.g. administrative process duration, grid access, legal security etc.) to renewable energy project investments. The project focuses on developing and emerging countries (Asia, Latin America, North Africa) and on wind and solar energy. The objective is to give specific recommendations for the design of effective policy measures and frameworks. A survey will be open until November 30, 2009. Participation is anonymous.
